I haven't been able to get in to do an update since the last crash debacle. It has, for lack of a better word, sucked.
I couldn't even give love linkage to Science-girl and her man unit for coming out to play with us last weekend.
They are so cool. I lurves me some Science-girl and Skydive-Life. I would link to him, but, you know, he doesn't love us any more and won't ever update. I ain't too proud to shove a little peer pressure his way.
I had gotten stuck at the shop reeeeeally late on Saturday night; and had only just hauled my tired old ass outta bed in time to put some pants on (I thought they'd appreciate that) and scramble to the local beer and meat distributer to hook up with them. Can I just mention there is not a much better way to wake up on a Sunday morning (ok, afternoon, hush.) then your eyes slowly focusing as someone sets a monstrous Black And Tan and a steaming cheeseburger in front of your face? Could I kindly get that kind of wake-up on a slightly more regular basis? That would be swell, thanks.
We hung out with them until the food and beer were gone; then the four of us took a circuitous route (Science-girl's husband was just testing my logistical abilities, I think) to the Dairy Store on campus. We got amazing ice cream; and afterwards, for the journey home, a bag of cheese curds. (I know, sounds disgusting. But it's amazing stuff. The Cheese That Screams. I will never look at them the same way again.)
They're so cool. Science-girl is so freakin' gorgeous and funny; and her man unit has the patience of Job .. proven yet again by his not picking up Freak and throwing her across the room as she persistently tried to become one with his crotch, the poor guy. He also demonstrated dat he got dat riddum, and would be a hard man to beat at a drinking game. Ask him to show you that 'cup' thing he can do. It will blow your mind.
Now, probably, I will hit enter and all of this will disappear into the ether, but nonetheless ...

I was actually kidding about the 'hit enter and everything disappears' thing, but IT FUCKING HAPPENED!!! HAH! I C&P'd the entry before I hit enter, so for the first time the entire thing wasn't lost. I freaking HATE DLand sometimes. (Ok, yeah, I'm not a 'Gold' member, and I guess that figures in somewhere, but .. DAMN! BASTARDS!)
