A music meme, because I can finally POST!

Because She asked me to.
Total amount of music files on your computer?
Urm .. lemme check. I'm so surprised DLand actually let me IN to post, I'm still not over the shock. Ya'll think I'm just screwing off, but in all actuality, I can't get in to post, hardly, ever. Smart idea, soon us folks without Gold Memberships won't be able to post at ALL ... oh. How many music files have I got? Um ... lemme check. Seventy six, in my music folder. I have others scattered around through other folders and tacked up on my desktop probably, though.
Last CD you bought?
Akon:Trouble for the Diva.
Song you last listened to?
"Get Your Hands Off Me" by Jin (yes, it's a link. Check him out. He's my new 'On Deck' thing.
The absolutely weirdly over the top video?
I'm assuming this refers to music videos, which I do not watch. Sorry. I'm a slacker. I do have a couple of vids that I WOULD watch, if they came on, but I don't watch them now.
Five songs you often listen to that mean a lot to you?
1. "One Week" by Bare Naked Ladies.
It was right after my ex (who I was with for like, nigh on ten years not quite) and I had broken up. I had just moved out of the house we shared, into a postage stamp sized faculty/staff apt. on campus (I worked at the University then)and was driving to work one morning, literally a week after I moved. It was the first day that the sun was actually out and shining, the sky was a bright cobalt blue without clouds, and the trees were varying shades of brilliant yellows and reds. Fall was in full bloom. And I had JUST woken up, that morning, and realized that not only was I NOT going to die from grief; I actually would probably be fine. And that it was actually kinda nice to have my shit be in the same place as I left it when I got home from work. And that song came on the radio, and I turned it waaaaaaay up and rolled my window down and lit a cigarette and realized that everything would be OK. For some reason, that song STILL evokes that 'ok, that was hell, but hey .. everything will be ok' kind of feeling when I hear it.
2. "It Had To Be You" by Frank Sinatra.
It was the Diva's and my First Dance at our wedding reception. It was the song I *cough* first learned to properly 'dance' to; before the woman who taught me to dance passed away from cancer.
3. "Buona Sera" and "I've got you under my skin" by Louis Prima.
Because Ma used to sing them. And Louis Prima KICKS ASS, you hear me?
4. "Them There Eyes" by Billie Holiday. It's just one of my favorite songs, like, ever. EVARRRRRRRRR.
5. "Baby Got Back" by Sir-Mix-Alot.
Because I was driving across the country to do like, probably one of the hugest things I've ever done in my life, and was exhilarated and terrified at the same time. And I think I played that song about 984 times on the turnpike and loved EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.
Bonus track - "Operator" by The Diva.
It's my all-time favorite version ever. She was just teeny at the time, like in college or something; singing with some buncha guys she knew. And every time I hear it, it makes me dance like that crackhead guy on the Cingular commercials. Because she's Just That Cool.
